Event registration eligibility requirements
Are you a Council, Government agency, not-for-profit or private organisation staging an event that celebrates Queensland's 150th birthday? If so, register your event today.
The project, event or activity you are registering must:
- be held in Queensland
- celebrate the anniversary in a way that reflects the vision and themes of the celebrations – that is, our people, our places, our stories...
- increase awareness of the 150th celebrations in the broader community.
Event details, including date, time and venue, must be confirmed prior to submission. Please note Q150 is under no obligation to accept events submitted and reserves the right to edit or decline any event.
Please advise Q150 of any changes to the original event registration.
Queensland’s 150th Celebrations are managed by the Queensland Government through the Department of the Premier and Cabinet. You acknowledge that the Department has the right to suspend or terminate your event registration at any time if the Department decides that you have brought the Q150 celebrations into disrepute, or if the Department decides that any decision, activity or representation you make (or intend to make) is contrary to the intentions and ideals of the Department. You acknowledge that in registering your event, no actual legal partnership is created between you and the Department.
