"We got involved with Q150 because we think it is a great opportunity to celebrate what makes Queensland, and iconic Queensland institutions like BOQ, that little bit better than our interstate peers."
- David Liddy, Managing Director
"For us, Q150 will provide the chance to talk directly to thousands of residents, and particularly school children, about cleaner energy options for Australia's future and the way in which Queensland's regional communities like Roma and Gladstone are playing a vital part in the success of this project."
- Rick Wilkinson, Vice President of Santos' Liquefied Natural Gas (GLNG) project
"Queenslanders have been contributing to the State's first university for almost 100 years, and they're part of why we are now one of the world's top-ranked universities. Supporting Q150 is one way of UQ saying 'thanks' to Queenslanders, and sharing exciting developments in education and research with communities all over the State."
- Professor Paul Greenfield AO, Vice-Chancellor

"Queenslanders celebrate special times with us at Sea World, Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild Water World 364 days a year. We are thrilled to bring the magic of our Theme Parks to the Q150 celebrations!"
- John Menzies, Chief Executive Officer
"Cloncurry, Winton, Longreach and Brisbane all hold special significance for Qantas, which has expanded from a tiny rural air service in the 1920s to become the world's most experienced airline. The ties we have with Queensland remain very important to us and we are delighted to be involved in next year's Q150 celebrations and look forward to their great success."
- Geoff Dixon, Chief Executive Officer

"Our home state and the Queenslanders within it have been so supportive of the brewery and our brands over the years. This is why it made perfect sense for us to help support the Q150 2009 program, and of course ensure that Queensland's number one beer brand is there to assist with the celebrations."
- Regional Director, Bill Webb
"Our company is a strong supporter of all things Queensland and in support of the 150th year celebrations, we will have another opportunity to interact with all Queenslanders."
- Ross Morgan, Region Manager

"We are proud to sponsor this historic milestone for our State. Our Rum was born out of the Queensland cane fields in November 1888 and since then Queenslanders have celebrated many great occasions with a Bundy Rum; we hope they join us in raising a glass to mark Q150!"
- John Green, Chairman, Bundaberg Rum Distilling Co.
"As our family will be celebrating 100 years of agribusiness in the South Burnett, we wanted to support Queensland's 150th birthday celebrations. What better way to celebrate the past and toast the future of Queensland than with a family owned Queensland wine?"
- Brett Heading, Chairman

Local supporting partner (Caboolture)

QUT
As custodian of Old Government House, QUT recently oversaw the beautiful restoration of our State's first significant public building. This project, which was a major initiative for Queensland's 150th anniversary celebrations, was a real-world example of the university’s support for Q150. With a campus at Caboolture, we are also proud sponsors of the Caboolture leg of the Q150 Shed Tour 2 on 30 and 31 October. At QUT we strongly believe in engaging with the community and contributing to the cultural life of the State.
- QUT Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Coaldrake and Q150 Executive Chair

"It's a great way for us to demonstrate our value as a local business and together with the Q150 team showcase the special achievements and activities of Queenslanders and the celebrations. When Queenslanders want to know what's going on with events and celebrations throughout next year, all they need to do is turn to Network 10 and Q150."
- Chris O'Connell, General Manager
"We appreciate the importance of Queensland's 150th birthday celebrations and we acknowledge the significance of celebrating this milestone. We are confident that our involvement will help encourage all Queenslanders to enjoy the celebrations as they unfold in the lead up to and throughout 2009."
- Bruce Abraham, General Manager
"As the guardian of some of Queensland's oldest and best known brands, that have been servicing their communities since proclamation, it is appropriate we throw our weight behind this historical event. As it was 150 years ago our franchise today is local news. It's what sets us apart."
- Mark Jamieson, Chief Executive

We are the newest kid in town and within three-and-a-half years we've gone to number one station and I think there's so much value we can add to the city and the State."
- Sean Ryan, General Manager
"Both Triple M and B105 have been heavily involved within the Queensland community across the past 28 years, and Queensland's 150th Celebrations is an important milestone which Austereo simply had to be a part of."
